MUMBAI: An IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Doha was delayed by over 17 hours on Sunday due to technical issues. Passengers, who had arrived at Mumbai airport in the early hours of Sunday, were stranded waiting for their flight to depart late in the evening. The flight eventually left around 9.30pm.

IndiGo flight 6E 1303 was scheduled to take off at 3.55am.
The passengers alleged that they were forced to wait inside the aircraft for close to five hours before they were allowed to deboard. When an aircraft is on the ground, the air-conditioning in the passenger cabin is not as efficient as when it is in the air.
Hours before the flight departed, IndiGo, in a statement, said: "...The customers are being provided hotels and are being rebooked as per their final destination. Our airport team immediately provided assistance to the affected customers, provided refreshments and necessary arrangements."
