Bhujbal moves breach of privilege motion over anganwadi building inauguration snub
Nashik: State minister and Yeola MLA Chhagan Bhujbal has moved a breach of privilege motion over the inauguration of an anganwadi building and a primary health centre without being taken into confidence.
Bhujbal, who moved the motion on Aug 1, claimed that the structures in Nandurmadhmeshwar village of Niphad taluka fall in his constituency, and the govt funds were used to establish them.

“Former Zilla Parishad member Amruta Pawar, other elected representatives ZP CEO Arjun Gunde, deputy CEO Varsha Phadol, district health officer Sudhakar More, and block development officer Mahesh Patil did not invite the MLA from the region while inaugurating the establishments constructed from govt funds, and this is a breach of privilege of the House. I therefore request the Speaker to take up this matter with the committee of privileges,” the Yeola MLA said in the letter.
The structures were inaugurated on July 29, and the plaque carried only Pawar’s name.
Meanwhile, Bhujbal also claimed none of the office-bearers or the officials of the Nashik Zilla Parishad brought to his notice the inauguration or even invited him to the programme and urged authorities to look into the matter. Pawar, however, claimed that the works were carried out with funds from Nashik ZP. "Besides, our term came to an end in 2022, and since then, there have been no elections. If the works have been completed, it is time that they should be inaugurated and handed over to the people," Pawar said.
She further claimed that there was no ill-intention in the inauguration, given that she was part of the Mahayuti, as she is now a member of the BJP.
