Ranchi: The festival of Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor in Ranchi on Friday. Married women adorned themselves in beautiful sarees and lehengas, decorated their hands with mehndi designs, and wore traditional jewellery and flowers in their hair.
The Teej fast, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, sees women dressed up in traditional attire, often in shades of green, red, pink, and yellow, symbolizing prosperity.
