Body of man found in quarry near SGNP
Thane: The lifeless body of an unidentified man was discovered in a quarry situated near Patel Quarry, in close proximity to Tikuji-ni-Wadi Water Park, within the boundaries of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Manpada.
“Upon receiving the report, officials from the Chitalsar-Manpada Police Station, along with personnel from the Disaster Management Cell, Thane Disaster Response Force (TDRF), Fire Department, and the Forest Department, arrived at the scene,” said Yasin Tadvi, the head of Regional Disaster Management Cell of Thane Municipal Corporation.

The team successfully recovered the body from the quarry. The deceased, an unidentified male estimated to be between 25 and 30-years-old, was transferred to the Chitalsar-Manpada police for additional probe. Post-mortem examination was being conducted to determine the cause of death.
