Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the BJP's manifesto, stating that it is a distorted version of the schemes and promises made by the Congress government. He claimed that the public has been disappointed with the manifesto and that there is no substance in it. Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot has expressed confidence that the party will form governments in at least four states in the upcoming assembly polls. He believes this will be a clear indication of the direction in which the wind is blowing for the 2024 general elections. Pilot also emphasized the commitment of the INDIA bloc to work together and defeat the BJP in 2024, and stated that the prime ministerial face will be decided after the elections. He dismissed talk of cracks in the alliance and said that small differences will not hinder the sharing of Lok Sabha seats among alliance partners.

Congress MP Manish Tewari criticized the BJP for avoiding the Telangana elections due to fear of defeat. He stated that there is no favorable 'wave' for the saffron party in the upcoming November 30 elections. Tewari accused the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of being the 'B' team of the BJP. He expressed confidence that the Congress will form the government in Telangana. In the previous assembly election, the BRS won 88 out of 119 seats, while the Congress secured only 19 seats.
