Bootleggers caught from movie theatre
Vadodara: It was a scene right out of some Bollywood flick when the crime branch sleuths arrested two bootleggers from a movie hall in Anand. The accused duo was watching film ‘Bad News’ when the cops walked in to pick them up.
The police said that a case under the Prohibition Act was registered against some persons in Kubharwada a few days ago.
Two accused, Himanshu Ludhwani and Vivek Kevlani, were named in the case.

The police said that they received a tip-off on Tuesday that the absonding accused were watching a movie in Shaan Theatre in Anand. The crime branch team reached there and intercepted the duo during the interval.
Initially, the accused didn’t confirm their identity but they later admitted having committed the offence to the police.
They had escaped from the city and were staying at a hotel in Anand.
Ludhwani already has five prohibition cases registered against him in the city.
