BJP MLA, 2 others face death threat

Varanasi: Posters containing death threats to Ketki Singh, the BJP MLA from Bansdih, and two other individuals were put on walls of several residences in the jurisdiction of Sukhpura police station in Ballia.
The menacing message was conveyed through a handwritten note on walls of the Beruarbari block headquarters and various other locations. A ten-rupee note was also appended to the ominous notice.Referring to the assassination of Rohit Pandey that occurred in front of Bansdih police station in July, the note issued a stern warning, stating that MLA Ketki Singh, Bhanu Dubey of Gadwar and Shubham Chaubey of Chodhar, would be executed.
The note further stated that the monetary compensation had been received, and gang members had become operational in the district. It challenged the district administration to obstruct their activities if they could. The note ominously proclaimed that two murders would transpire imminently, and all three targeted individuals would be eliminated by year end.
Sukhpura SHO Yogendra Singh sais the matter is being investigated. Ballia SP Vikrant Veer said that a dedicated team had been assigned to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter, and the perpetrators would be apprehended swiftly.
