Visakhapatnam: Left-arm spinner Moses took his second five-wicket haul in the match to return with a match haul of 10/71 to bowl East Godavari to an ainnings and 69-run victory over Prakasam in the ACA under-19 inter-district tournament on Thursday.

Nellore down Anantapur

Three Andhra cricketers in Duleep Trophy
The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has expressed delight over selection of three Andhra players - KS Bharat and Ricky Bhui for Team D and K Nitish Kumar Reddy for Team B - in the Duleep Trophy tournament to be played at Anantapur and Bengaluru next month. The Anantapur District Cricket Association is all geared up to host host the tournament starting on September. One of the first-round league matches will be played in Bengaluru and Rural Development Trust (RDT) grounds in Anantapur. The ADCA along with the RDT started sprucing up the two grounds.

Anantapur, Kurnool, Guntur, West Godavari, East Godavari, and Visakhapatnam secured first innings leads on the second day of the ACA men's inter-district tournament. Chinnaswamy Stadium to host Duleep Trophy opener
The BCCI relocated the Duleep Trophy opener from Anantapur to Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium to accommodate star players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. This match will kick off the 2024-25 domestic season. Other international cricketers, except Hardik Pandya and possibly Mohammed Shami, are expected to participate in the tournament leading up to the Test series against Bangladesh.

Big guns for Duleep Trophy
The Duleep Trophy, once a premier domestic event, has seen a decline in prominence. This season, however, aims to feature top Indian cricketers like Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant. The tournament, beginning on September 5, has relocated one opening match from Anantapur to Bengaluru for logistical reasons, hoping to attract the participation of prominent players.
