Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA)

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) is a state-level education board responsible for conducting the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, which is the 10th grade board examination in the state of Assam. SEBA was established in 1962 with its headquarters in Guwahati, Assam. The board is responsible for designing the curriculum, prescribing textbooks, conducting examinations, and evaluating answer scripts for the HSLC examination. SEBA also promotes the development of secondary education in the state of Assam by providing support and guidance to schools, teachers, and students. In addition to the HSLC examination, SEBA also conducts other examinations such as the Assam Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) and the Assam High Madrassa examination. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is a state-level education board responsible for conducting the Higher Secondary (HS) examination, which is the 12th grade board examination in the state of Assam. AHSEC was established in 1984 with its headquarters in Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, Assam. The board is responsible for designing the curriculum, prescribing textbooks, conducting examinations, and evaluating answer scripts for the HS examination. AHSEC also promotes the development of higher secondary education in the state of Assam by providing support and guidance to schools, teachers, and students. In addition to the HS examination, AHSEC also conducts other examinations such as the Assam Higher Secondary TET, Assam Madrassa TET, and the Assam Sanskrit TET. The board aims to provide quality education to all students in the state and ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their future endeavors.
