CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the date of commencement of the practical examination of CBSE class 12th board exams. Practical examination/project work/internal assessment will be conducted from January 1, 2023, for all schools affiliated to CBSE. Subject wise complete CBSE Exam Date 2023 Class 12 has also been released by the Board. CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2023 is now available on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) - cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 12th Admit Card Date & Time 2023

CBSE Class 12th Admit Card 2023 will be issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education in February 2023. The CBSE board exam will be conducted from February 2023. How to download CBSE Class 12 Admit Card 2023?

Private students appearing in CBSE 12th Exam 2023 can download their admit card online. Follow the following steps to download CBSE 12th Admit Card 2023:

• Step 1: First of all visit the official website of CBSE or click on the direct link given above on this page.
• Step 2: After that click on the link of “e-Examination” on the home page of the main website.

CBSE Class 12th Board Exam Preparation Tips 2023

1. Students must be aware of the syllabus and exam pattern before preparing for the exam.
2. To cover the syllabus along with CBSE, study NCERT books and solve the questions given in the books.

CBSE 12th Exam Pattern 2023

Last year the board had conducted term wise board exams. As per the CBSE 12th Exam Pattern 2023, each paper will carry 80 marks and the remaining 20 marks will be for internal assessment for every stream. The detailed CBSE New Pattern for Class 12 for each subject can be found on the website.

CBSE Board Exam 2022-23 will be conducted in a single term by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Recently, the Minister of State for Education had announced that from this year, merit-based questions will also be asked in the CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams. He had said that at least 40 percent merit-based questions will be asked from class 10th students and up to 30 percent students in class 12th board exams. These questions will be asked in many different formats.

Marking scheme for CBSE Class 12th Board Exams

In the academic session 2022-23, CBSE will implement the same old exam pattern that was being followed till 2020. As per the revised exam pattern of CBSE 12th, there will be an exam only once in a year. The maximum marks for each subject is 100 marks (80 marks in written examination and 20 marks in internal and oral examinations). Along with the CBSE Class 12 exam pattern, the syllabus has also been revised for the session 2022-23. However, the 30% reduction in syllabus is still applicable.

CBSE Evaluation Scheme Details

• Only one examination will be conducted by CBSE at the end of the academic session.
• 30% reduction in syllabus for some subjects will remain the same as in the previous two semesters.
• Efforts will be made to make the Internal Assessment/Practical Project work more reliable and valid as per the guidelines and moderation policy announced by the Board to ensure fair distribution of marks.

CBSE Class 12 Exam Details

• For the session 2022-23, CBSE 12th examination will be conducted tentatively in Feb-March, 2023.
• The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), consisting of Case-based MCQs and Assertion-Reasoning type MCQs.
• The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
