Feeding India, a Zomato initiative has announced the second edition of the Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) 2024. This year, global pop star
Dua Lipa will headline the concert, which will take place on November 30, 2024 at MMRDA, BKC in Mumbai. Along with Dua Lipa, other national artists like Jonita Gandhi and Talwiinder will also perform at the concert.
The concert aims to unite artists, changemakers, philanthropists, and citizens in the fight against hunger and malnutrition in India.
Feeding India, a non-profit organisation, works towards solving these issues through large-scale interventions, direct meal support to schools, and raising awareness through a youth-led volunteer movement.
Deepinder Goyal, Founder & CEO, Zomato said, “For the second edition we have one of my favourite pop music icons, Dua Lipa, and I couldn’t be more excited! Dua has recently shared her love for India and this concert will help strengthen our country’s resolve to eradicate malnutrition and hunger in India.”
Dua Lipa, expressing her excitement, said, "My recent trip to India was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place. The warmth and energy I felt were amazing, and I can’t wait to return in November 2024 to perform for an incredible audience in India.”
This will be Dua’s first performance in India since 2019, and it aligns with her Radical Optimism Tour, which includes stops across Asia.
