A musical tribute to the music legend Mohd Rafi

A group of music enthusiasts organised a delightful evening dedicated to the iconic singer Mohd Rafi to mark his centenary year. They presented a hundred songs from the vast kitty of popular songs of the late singer.

Giving a perfect start to the evening was the song Tum Mujhe Yun Bhula Na Paoge rendered by Nirmal Joshi. What followed was a medley of songs capturing the various moods.Tumne Mujhe Dekha Hokar Mehraban sung by Anjani Didwania and Na Ja Kahin Ab Na Ja rendered by Anupam Raghuvanshi, Yeh Reshmi Zhulfe by Harish, Dard-e-Dard-e-Jigar by Sandeep, had every one crooning along. Peppy songs like Gulabi Aankhen Jo Teri Dekhi by Satvik and Rishi, Chahe Koi Muje Jangli Kahe by Vikas, and Oh Haseen Zulfon Wali by Dipto and Anushree made the guests itch to dance.

Several interesting anecdotes about the great singer were also shared on the occasion. Sadhavi Khanna and Himani Jaiswal anchored the evening. The chief guests of the event were Dr Sangeeta Pandit, Dr Divya Singh and Sarita Lakhotia.
