Nolan Gould added a personal touch to the holiday season while working on Modern Family. During an episode of the Dinner's on Me podcast, the 25-year-old actor reminisced with his former co-star
Jesse Tyler Ferguson about his annual tradition of gifting personalized Christmas ornaments to the show's cast and crew.
Ferguson, 48, praised Gould for his thoughtful gifts, saying, "You gave the greatest gift ever — these homemade ornaments with photos from Modern Family every year." Gould explained that each ornament featured a press photo from the show, signed with "Love, Nolan" on the back.
He added, "Some people who were with the show for all 11 years have all 11 ornaments." Ferguson chimed in, "I'm one of them."
The ornaments still hold a special place for many, as Gould shared, "Every year at Christmastime, someone sends me a photo of all of them on their tree." Gould, who played Luke Dunphy, was part of Modern Family's iconic cast for its entire 11-season run from 2009 to 2020, alongside stars like Ed O'Neill, Sofía Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Rico Rodriguez, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland. Reflecting on his time growing up on the show, Gould expressed gratitude, saying, "I wouldn't change my childhood. I'm really happy I got to be part of such an incredible show."
