Rajinikanth has also begun shooting for 'Coolie' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

'Vettaiyan' featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role is inching ahead for a grand theatrical release on October 10, and the film is set to have a pan-Indian release. The promotions for the film are on, while the makers have organized a grand audio launch for the film in Chennai today (Sep 20) evening. Rajinikanth, who was filming for 'Coolie' in Vizag, returned to Chennai this morning ahead of the grand event, and he was spotted at the Chennai airport.

The media present didn't fail to shoot their questions towards the actor. However Rajinikanth, warned the press to not ask questions regarding politics.
Rajinikanth also shared his excitement on joining the 'Vettaiyan' team for the audio launch event, which is held at Jawaharlal Stadium in Chennai. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, 'Vettaiyan' is reported to be a social drama, and the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh among others.
After completing his work for 'Vettaiyan', Rajinikanth has started filming for 'Coolie' with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the shooting of the upcoming film is underway in Vizag. A video of Nagarjuna Akkineni from the 'Coolie' set was leaked on social media recently, and Lokesh Kanagaraj requested fans not to share the pirated video as it spoils the hard work of many.
