Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has expanded its popular 42 series with the launch of the new Jawa 42 FJ, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle adopts a modern-retro design language and gets a similar silhouette as its other 42 siblings but with significant changes. The manufacturer has commenced the bookings for the model with deliveries expected to begin soon.
The model will lock horns against the likes of the TVS Ronin and RE Classic 350 among others.
The new Jawa 42 FJ retains the sporty neo-retro styling as its other siblings in the range, with a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, side panels branded with "42," and a single-piece seat. Besides that, fuel tank features aluminum cladding, giving it a classic touch. Other highlights include blacked-out engine components, upswept exhaust pipes, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. It is also available with wire-spoke wheel option with the base-spec variant.
