Tripura closes edu institutes till Tuesday
Agartala: The Tripura govt on Sunday issued a notice for the closure of all educational institutes and anganwadi centres in the state on Monday and Tuesday following the warning issued by the National Disaster Management Authority and the India Meteorological Department for cyclone Remal.
State revenue secretary Brijesh Pandy said an emergency meeting of the State Level Disaster Management Authority chaired by chief secretary J K Sinha was conducted on Sunday and advised the airport and railway authorities, and transport operators to inform the passengers in advance if their services are cancelled to ensure public safety.

Meanwhile, the Airport Authority of India informed all flights from Kolkata to Agartala have been cancelled till Monday morning.
