Man kidnapped girl as her mom refused to marry him
Ajmer: The man, who is accused of kidnapping a four-year-old girl from Ajmer railway station on Sept 10, had offered to marry the child’s mother. However, she refused to accept his proposal.
Government Railway Police (GRP) on Thursday revealed the identity of the accused as Razaak Lohar (35), a resident of the Kotwali region of Neem ka Thana district.

Deputy SP of GRP, Ramavtar, said that the child, who was rescued, has been handed over to her mother. The mother had come to offer prayers at the dargah on the morning of Sept 10 and was waiting to board a train at night, he said.
Police said that the accused admitted he was drunk when he came to the platform. When he saw the woman with a child, he sat there and started talking to her, offering to marry her. When the woman refused, he, feeling alone, kidnapped the girl and was taking her to Modasa in Gujarat. He intended to keep the girl with him and admit her to a nearby Madrasa so she could study, police said.
Police said the mother of the accused died when he was a child, and his father died about 15 years ago. He was living alone in Neem Ka Thana and then sold his house to his uncle and went to Modasa, where his other uncle was residing. He started working as a masonry labourer. TNN
