Ajmer: The full bench of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on Tuesday postponed the Rajasthan Administrative and Allied Services (RAS) Mains exam 2023.
This exam will now be conducted on July 20 and 21 this year. Previously the exam was scheduled in January 27 and 28, which are Saturday and Sunday.
Candidates who were appearing for RAS mains 2023 exam staged continuous protests in Jaipur demanding to postpone the dates of the exam.
Last week, minister Kirori Lal Meena announced that the state cabinet had decided to postpone the RAS mains examination and had asked the RPSC to re-schedule the examination.
On the decision of the cabinet, a meeting was called by the RPSC on Tuesday and after discussing the preparations and schedules for other exams, new dates were then fixed and announced.
Now the RAS mains exams will be conducted in the month of July on 20th and 21st.
