Govt wants to uplift society, says Sattar
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maharashtra minorities development minister Abdul Sattar on Thursday said state govt was committed to uplift all sections of the society.
Citing the announcements of industrial investments by Lubrizol, Toyota Kirloskar, and Ather running into thousands of crores of rupees, the minister said state govt had been taking positive steps to generate employment and development of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Marathwada region.

Reiterating state govt’s series of welfare schemes, Sattar said that about 5.33 lakh women from the district have been approved to receive Rs 1,500 per month under the ‘Majhi Ladki Bahin’ scheme.
“In addition to this, about 1.69 lakh sisters from the district will also get benefits under the ‘Annapurna’ scheme that guarantees three LPG cylinders for free each year,” the minister said.
