Congress MP Vasant Chavan was air-lifted to Hyderabad for medical treatment on Tuesday evening. The 69-year-old politician was earlier taken to a private hospital in the morning when he complained of difficulty in breathing.
Nanded Congress unit chief Hanmant Patil Betmogrekar said Chavan needs periodic dialysis. “The family members decided to shift Chavan to Hyderabad for further treatment,” he said.
Chavan’s birthday is Aug 15. TNN
