Jalandhar: A student of Lyallpur Khalsa College was killed after being run over by a train. Railway Police ASI Hira Singh said the deceased student, Jasleen Kaur (17), hailed from Nawanshahr. The mishap took place when the student was on her way to college. “According to eyewitnesses, she was talking on phone while crossing the track, and could not notice the train,” he said.
