CHENNAI: Tambaram Corporation on Monday conducted a medical camp --providing comprehensive health check-ups-- for its 700 sanitation workers.
The camp offered a range of services, including general medicine, women's health, dermatology, psychiatry, cardiology, and orthopedics.
Specialized care in fields like urology, dental care and pulmonology was also provided.
Around 15 types of health tests and 30 medical laboratory assessments were conducted.
Corporation commissioner S Balachander and Pallavaram MLA E Karunanidhi visited the camp and issued cards to the workers to access the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Medical Insurance Scheme.
