The incident triggered panic in the adjacent residential vicinity as the fire rapidly consumed the entire godown. Witnessing a substantial explosion and the desperate cries of laborers heightened the sense of urgency.

Promptly responding to the crisis, disaster response force (DRF) teams and four fire engines were mobilized. The fire, stemming from chemicals stored in the stilt area of the building, resulted in the loss of nine lives.

In a courageous rescue mission, a child and a woman were successfully saved from the intense flames raging within the storage godown.
