Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy directed the officials to prepare plans to make Greater Hyderabad a clean city on the lines of Indore.
“Municipal department officials should go to Indore and study the procedures being followed there. Find out which agencies and voluntary organisations are involved in the work and hold discussions and, if possible, involve them.

GHMC should focus on garbage collection along with road maintenance and development. There should be supervision on the collection of garbage regularly from every house. Technologies like GIS and QR scan should be used, if necessary, the CM said.
Revanth said development of 811 km of roads was undertaken under the Comprehensive Road Maintenance Programme in Hyderabad in the past. “Submit a report to me within 15 days regarding the contractors who have not completed the works. Action will be taken against officials if they furnish false reports.”
