Cancel Rajasthan CM bail for foreign visit sans court nod: Plea in HC

JAIPUR: A petition has been filed against Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma seeking cancellation of bail granted to him in a 2011 communal rioting case being probed by CBI.
A lawyer Thursday filed the application before a sessions court asserting that Sharma is currently travelling outside India without informing court.
This is in violation of the terms and conditions of anticipatory bail granted to him on Sept 10, 2013.The court has scheduled hearing of the case for Sept 24.
The CM is in Japan leading roadshows to attract investments for 'Rising Rajasthan' summit scheduled in Dec this year. Early this week, he completed roadshows in South Korea.
