LPG free for a mth for new connections in Kota city
RSGL managing director Ranveer Singh said that during this period, the first 1,000 consumers taking connections in Kota city will be provided liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) free of cost for a month’s consumption.
The RSGL managing director released a poster for this scheme on Thursday. He said the use of domestic LPG, compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and piped Natural Gas (PNG) is economical, safe and environment friendly.
Rajasthan State Gas Ltd (RSGL) provides both CNG and PNG in Kota city.

The Forest Advisory Committee has granted initial approval for using 4.49 hectares in Assam's Hollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary for oil and gas exploration by Vedanta's Cairn Oil and Gas. The project is considered nationally significant, with promises of minimal environmental disruption and financial contributions to wildlife conservation efforts.

LG Polymers India pledges 120 cr for gas leak victims
LG Polymers India has pledged a total of 120 crore to assist families affected by the styrene gas leak in Visakhapatnam in May 2020. The first phase of funding, amounting to 60 crore, will offer immediate livelihood support, while the second phase will focus on long-term measures. The state government had previously provided financial assistance to victims.
