JAMSHEDPUR: BJP MP from Chatra, Kalicharan Singh, said the party would not name the chief ministerial candidate ahead of the assembly elections.
“The CM would be elected unanimously by the party MLAs with the confidence of the central leaders. All members are involved in the elections,” he added.
The MP exuded confidence that BJP in alliance with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners would win the assembly polls and form the next govt.

“The large turnout of people at the Parivartan rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jamshedpur on September 15 is an indication of people’s growing disenchantment with the ruling dispensation. Wind of change is blowing across the state. The present govt would be overthrown in the upcoming polls,” he said.
The BJP leader said the association of former CM Champai Soren, who enjoys strong support of the tribal community, with BJP would strengthen the party. “JMM is in disarray. Its leaders have to answer why a committed cadre like Champai Soren was removed from the CM’s chair in an unceremonious manner,” the MP said.
