Biker dies, pillion rider injured as two-wheeler hits divider
A tragic accident occurred in Deonar around 6.30 pm on Saturday when a 20-year-old biker, Ehtesham Anari, lost control of his two-wheeler and collided with a divider. His friend Abdullah sustained fractures in his hand and legs. The Deonar police have registered a case against Ehtesham for causing death by negligence and rash driving.

Pillion rider killed in accident
A fatal accident in Udupi's Shankaranarayana area claimed the life of Sumathi, who was riding pillion with her nephew Nagesh. The mishap occurred when Nagesh abruptly braked to avoid a pothole, causing Sumathi to fall and sustain severe head injuries. Despite prompt medical care, she passed away. Authorities have registered a case.

Ravichandra, 41, and his nephew Abhishek were involved in an accident when their scooter skidded on an oil spill from a tanker on National Highway-66 near Hemmady. The incident took place around 9am near Karavali Hotel at Talluru Junction. Ravichandra sustained injuries and was taken to a private hospital for treatment. Multiple accidents occurred due to the spill.
