Man held for holding post for 29 yrs on forged papers
Lucknow: UP Police Special Task Force arrested a man from Deoria district, employed as an attendant in a govt school since 1995 on the basis of forged documents.
The accused, identified as Hari Prasad, was arrested from Bakhra Inter College, Bakhra, under Gauri Bazar police station, Deoria.
STF inspector Satya Prakash Singh said STF had been receiving complaints about individuals securing jobs in the education department using fake documents.

"One such complaint was received against Hari Prasad, resident of Bakhra village in Deoria. As part of the investigation, all records related to Hari Prasad were obtained from the office of the district inspector of schools, Deoria and verified. Discrepancies were found in his date of birth. Using forged documents, Hari Prasad had secured position of an attendant at Bakhra Inter College, Gauri Bazar, Deoria," said inspector Singh.
An STF team arrested Hari Prasad from Bakhra Inter College. "During interrogation, the accused said he had forged his date of birth in his transfer certificate to show himself younger than his actual age in order to extend his tenure and continue receiving salary and other financial benefits for a longer period," said the STF.
