32yo woman found murdered, kin allege rape

Meerut: A 32-year-old woman was found strangled to death in her house in Khurja area of Bulandshahr on Wednesday.
According to police, she was sleeping in the bedroom with her 2-year-old son and her husband had gone to his relative’s house. When he came home, he saw her lying unconscious on the bed. “When I returned home in the morning, I found my wife lying unconscious on the bed.Her clothes were torn, and a doctor was called who confirmed her death,” he said.
His elder brother said he saw two men from his neighbourhood lurking outside their house late at night. “When I was returning from the tubewell around 2am, I saw Johnny and Vikrant Kumar standing outside the house. I suspect both raped her and strangled her,” he said. Varun Kumar Singh, CO, Khurja said, “Prime facie, she was killed because of her alleged extra-marital relationship.
