Jipmer OPD to remain closed on July 28

PUDUCHERRY: Outpatient department (OPD) services at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) will be closed on July 28 on account of Muharram, a holiday declared by the Union government, said a release from the institute.
The institute requested the patients not to come to Jipmer OPD on July 28. However, the emergency services would function without any interruption, said the release.
