“Our’s is a people’s govt being run from villages. We will make you economically strong so that you don’t need to seek help from others,” he said.
“The Sarna Code, a long pending demand of tribals, was sent to the Centre after being cleared by the Vidhan Sabha. But the Union govt did not act upon it,” he said.
CM cited his govt’s achievements in providing ration cards, van-pata (forest rights’ titles), and stopping the Netarhat Field Firing Range to return land to their rightful owners.
Hemant accused BJP of “poaching” MLAs and MPs of other parties. He asserted that BJP would be “driven out” from the state “forever” after the assembly elections scheduled this year.
“Even if the people reject them, they poach MLAs, MPs and use agencies like the ED and the CBI against opposition leaders or put them behind bars to form govt,” he alleged.
“As fish cannot survive without water, our opposition (BJP) feels the same without power... They have been after me and our MLAs for the past two years. But, we are neither saleable nor are we scared,” Soren said.

He further alleged that when BJP was “importing” leaders from Chhattisgarh, Assam, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh after its “local leaders failed”. “These leaders are flaring communal tension here,” he added.
Soren blamed the saffron party for creating hurdles in the implementation of his govt's welfare schemes.
