IIM-Shillong students donate blood
The programme held under the theme ‘One donation saves three lives’ aimed to create greater awareness about the critical need for blood donations and encourage individuals to contribute towards this noble cause, reports Manosh Das.

The Western Railway employees union organised a blood donation camp at Churchgate station in association with Western Railways Jagjivan Ram Hospital. WR general manager Ashok Kumar Misra inaugurated the camp and encouraged other staffers to participate in large numbers. More than 100 units of blood were collected by the end of the day.

National Science Day observed in Shillong
The State Council of Science Technology and Environment in Meghalaya observed National Science Day 2024 under the theme Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat. The event took place at the state convention centre in Shillong. The Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development also observed National Science Day at Upper Shillong. Manosh Das reported that the Science Department of Shillong College participated.
