Shillong: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday expressed her keen interest in the overall
growth of Meghalaya and assured her continued support to the state during a meeting with governor CH Vijayashankar, who made a courtesy call on the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
“The meeting was a cordial exchange that focused on various issues concerning the overall
development and welfare of Meghalaya,” a communique issued by the governor’s office said on Friday.
“The President expressed her keen interest in Meghalaya’s growth and assured her continued support to the state’s developmental aspirations,” the communique highlighted.
