118 exhibitors to take part in diamond expo

Surat: The Surat Diamond Association (SDA) is set to host a three-day B2B diamond exhibition, CARATS Surat Diamond Expo 2024, starting on Friday at the SIECC Convention Center, with the participation of 118 exhibitors. It will showcase natural and lab-grown diamonds, jewellery, machinery, and software technology developers.
“Despite the overall situation in the diamond industry, the enthusiasm among the diamond manufacturers and traders is amazing.All stalls are booked for the exhibition,” said an official of SDA. SDA authorities attributed the interest to the success of previous events.
“SDA organized campaigns in different cities of the country and across the globe to invite businesses to the exhibition. Roadshows were organized in Dubai, the US, London, and Hong Kong as well,” said Jagdish Khunt, president of SDA. More than 8,000 visitors have registered online for the exhibition.
