Udaipur: A chef was brutally murdered in a hotel in Udaipur by a waiter following a heated altercation on Friday late night.
Chef Narendra Negi, a native of Ludhiana, was stabbed by Lokesh, a resident of Jhalawar, who was later apprehended.
Lokesh was employed as a waiter in the hotel. During the police interrogation, witnesses at the scene disclosed that the dispute had erupted between the two late at night concerning work-related matters.
Chef Narendra had instructed Lokesh to expedite the completion of his tasks. It was also alleged that the chef had hurled abuse at the waiter. The waiter asked him to refrain from such behaviour. tnn
