Two elderly women found murdered in house in Udaipur

Udaipur: The police on Friday evening found bodies of two elderly women in a house in a posh locality of Udaipur.
The incident took place in Diamond colony of Navratna complex in the city. The bodies of Hussaina (80) and Sara (75), real sisters, were found on the first floor of their residence.
The caretaker of the house found the bodies when he returned from the village on Friday evening.When he entered the house, he saw the carpet burning on the first floor. After extinguishing the fire, when he went in the flat, he was shocked to see the bodies of both the elderly women lying on the floor with head injuries. He informed the neighbours who in turn called the police.
Udaipur SP Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav said that looking at the injury marks on the head, the case seems to be of double murder, investigations are being carried out.

FSL team collected evidence from the spot. Investigation is being done to find out how the carpet caught fire and who is behind the murder. The postmortem was conducted on Saturday and the bodies were handed over to the family members.
According to police, Hussaina lived in Delhi with her son but whenever she came to Udaipur her sister Sara used to stay with her. It had been almost a month since both the sisters were staying together. The caretaker along with his family has been living here for eight years.
