Varanasi: In a significant step towards
digitisation, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PuVVNL) has implemented successfully the e-office system. The occasion was marked by managing director, Shambhu Kumar, approving the inaugural file through the newly introduced digital platform on Saturday, in the presence of the discom’s Directors and other senior officials.
Adoption of e-office system, under the RDSS scheme, aims to streamline departmental processes and digitise official files.
This transformative initiative is poised to enhance transparency in the corporation’s operations and expedite file disposal, thereby bolstering efficiency. With the advent of e-office, file exchange and approval will transition to a digital format, mitigating the reliance on paperwork and contributing to environmental sustainability.
During the launch, Kumar emphasised the e-office platform will streamline departmental administrative processes and amplify their efficacy.
The digital transformation is expected to accelerate decision-making and facilitate delivery of smooth consumer services.
