Visakhapatnam: More than 80 special teams, comprising over 400 police personnel on Friday conducted raids on hotels and lodges at various places in the city between 6.30 am and 11.30 am. They enquired about the check-in of suspicious persons, if any, to prevent the possibility of illegal activities. During the raids, the cops seized over 10 kg of cannabis and some liquor bottles.
This exposed violations in management of the hotels and lodges as some were operating without proper permission.TNN
