NEW DELHI: The Punjab School Education Board has announced the PSEB 10th Result 2023 today, May 26, 2023. Students who have appeared for the Punjab Class 10th exams will be able to check and download their Punjab Board 10th results from the official website at pseb.ac.in tomorrow, May 27 at 8 AM.
Gagandeep Kaur from Sant Mohan Das Memorial Sr Secondary School in Faridkot is a PSEB 10th topper 2023 with a perfect score of 650/650 marks.
This year, the pass percentage has been recorded at 97.54%. Girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 98.46% as compared to boys' 96.73%. A total of 2,81,327 students appeared for the Class 10 exams this time. However, the pass percentage is slightly (around 2 percent) less than the last year.
Pathankot district has recorded the highest 99.19% pass percentage, while Barnala has the lowest 95.96% pass percentage.

Government schools have recorded a pass percentage of 97.54%, closely followed by private schools with a pass percentage of 97%. In terms of regional comparison, rural areas have outperformed urban areas with a pass percentage of 97.94%, which is approximately 1% higher than the pass percentage of 96.77% in urban areas.
This time, as many as 653 students have failed to pass the Punjab Board Class 10 exams and 6171 students will have to re-appear for the 10th examinations.
Punjab Class 10 exams were conducted from March 24 to April 20, 2023, at various exam centres across the state. The exams were held in a single shift from 10 AM to 1:15 PM.
Last year, the overall pass percentage of PSEB 10th result was recorded at 97.94%. Girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 99.35% in comparison to boys' pass percentage of 98.83%. Out of a total of 3,11,545 students, 3,08,627 students passed the exam.
