YSRCP strength in Rajya Sabha now 8 as third MP resigns

Vijayawada/Hyderabad: Senior Backward Class functionary and YSRCP MP R Krishnaiah resigned from Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, the third RS member of YSRCP to quit after the general elections. RS chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has accepted his resignation.
His resignation has brought YSRCP's strength in RS down to eight from 11.
Amidst speculation that he might join BJP and could be offered national BC Commission chairman's post, Krishnaiah told TOI that though BJP has got in touch with him, he has not taken any decision.
