Jey Uso recently won big at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Monday Night RAW, Judgement Day. Reacting to his win over Bron Breakker, Priest expressed his excitement and congratulated Uso with a social media post.
He wrote, "Very deserved. Proud and excited for you. Congratulations Uce! #yeepa! #yeet #AndNew" Along with this he reposted WWE's announcement post of Jey Uso's victory at Judgement Day.
It bore the caption, "JEY WINS! JEY WINS! JEY WINS!" This victory is momentous as it marks The Yeet Master's first singles title reign.
The event occurred at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California who won a singles title for the first time in his career spanning 14 years. This went on to prove why he has been a great asset to the company after arena sell-out shows and high merchandise sales.
Damian Priest and Jey Uso on the same team after their match at Backlash France earlier this yearJey Uso and Damian Priest might be on the same team at the moment, however things have not always been smooth between them. In the beginning of the year, Jey Uso had challenged Damian Priest for his World Heavyweight Championship title. The match was held at Backlash France, but Priest defended his title during the match.
While this marks Jey Uso's first singles win, he had challenged the title-holder to become the next Undisputed
WWE Universal Championship on several occasions. It was only in SummerSlam 2023, that he was extremely close to winning the title by dethroning
Roman Reigns. However his brother
Jimmy Uso turned out to betray him in the match, which became the reason behind his failure.
He also challenged Gunther for the title of Intercontinental Championship, after he joined the RAW. Once again, his win was interrupted by his brother, Jimmy Uso. These challenges in the past have only made his fans root for him more, and ecstatic as he won the title this time.
