BMW F900 GS, F900 GS Adventure launched in India: Price, features, engine and specs

The BMW F 900 GS is offered in two variants - Style Passion in Sao Paulo Yellow and GS Trophy in Lightweight/Racing Blue Metallic. In contrast, the F 900 GS Adventure is available in Black Storm Metallic and White Aluminium Matt.

BMW Motorrad has launched the new BMW F 900 GS and the F 900 GS Adventure in India the Indian market priced at Rs Rs. 13.75 lakh and Rs 14.75 lakh, respectively ex-showroom. The ADV motorcycles will be bought in India as completely built-up units (CBU). Interested customers can book the ADV bikes by visiting their nearest dealership the deliveries will commence from October 2024.
The new BMW F 900 GS and the F 900 GS Adventure are powered by an 895cc, twin-cylinder engine that puts out 105bhp at 8500rpm and 93Nm at 6750rpm.
The new engine replaces the previous 853cc unit and the new engine also puts out more power and torque output. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine nestles onto a bridge-type chassis which connects to the rear wheel via an aluminium swingarm directly linked to a central spring strut.

The new motorcycles are the successor to the F 850 GS and gets significant upgrades over the old model. The F 900 GS and Adventure vary in dimensions, weight, and other features based on their intended use. The standard F 900 GS is designed for off-road riding, featuring minimal rally-style bodywork and a lighter curb weight of 226kg, along with a smaller 14.5-litre fuel tank. In contrast, the Adventure trim is geared towards versatility, offering a larger 23-litre fuel tank and a bigger seat. Both models come equipped with BMW’s standard features, including multiple riding and power modes, traction control, ABS, a bi-directional quick shifter, and a 6.5-inch colour TFT display.
