Ola Electric, one of the leaders in the electric two-wheeler market, has debuted its highly anticipated first motorcycle in India, the Roadster. This model comes in three variants: Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro, with prices starting at Rs 74,999 ex-showroom. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to start in Q4 2025.

In terms of design, the motorcycle looks pretty much the same as the model showcased last year.
It carries a simplistic yet aerodynamic package. The Ola Roadster series offers a range of battery options to suit different needs and budgets. The Roadster X is available with 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh battery options, priced between Rs 74,999 and Rs 99,999
The standard Roadster variant features 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh batteries, with prices ranging from Rs 1.05 lakh to Rs 1.40 lakh. The top-of-the-line Roadster Pro comes with 8 kWh and 16 kWh battery options, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.

Ola Roadster electric motorcycle: Performance and features
The Roadster X is equipped with an 11 kW motor. It offers a top speed of 124 kmph and a claimed range of up to 200 km. Key features include Combi Braking System, three riding modes, and a 4.3-inch LCD display with a host of features.
The Roadster, on the other hand, is aimed for commuters, powered by a 13 kW motor. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 126 kmph, the company claims. With battery options of 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh, it offers a claimed range of 248 km. It includes four riding modes and a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen with features like proximity unlock and AI-powered assistance.
Lastly, the Roadster Pro gets a 52 kW motor, offering a top speed of 194 kmph and an IDC-certified range of 579 km. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 1.2 seconds. The Pro model includes a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, USD forks, and switchable ABS. It also offers four riding modes—Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco—along with two customizable modes.
The Roadster Pro features its battery in the traditional spot of an ICE engine, supported by a steel frame with USD forks and a monoshock for suspension. Braking is handled by dual front discs and a rear disc, with ABS included as standard.
