Seer expresses concern over oppresion of Hindus in B’desh
Prayagraj: Shrimajjotishpeethadhiswar Jagadguru Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj has expressed deep concern over the oppression of Bangladeshi Hindus, their killings, rape of women, and arson in the name of regime change in the neighbouring country.
He, however, said, “Disgracefully dethroning the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, looting her residence, taking away clothes, jewellery and chairs, forcibly getting the Chief Justice of the court to resign, attacking and chasing away policemen from their workplace is actually an undeclared war against Sanatan Hindu Dharma.”
He asserted that scores of people of the Hindu community were killed and many are injured.

Houses and temples of Hindus are also being demolished and burnt. Maharaj, however, urged the central govt to provide relief to the victims of arson and rape in Bangladesh by sending the Indian Army for security, food, medicine, clothing, and rehabilitation, etc, for which talks should be held with the Bangladesh govt as per requirement. Swami Ji also appealed to all Sanatan Dharma Hindus living in the country and abroad that this is a challenge not only for Bangladesh but also for the the entire world, which will have to be faced with mutual harmony, brotherhood, patience, and courage.
