Prayagraj: Over 500 senior and junior resident doctors, under the banner of the Resident Doctors Association of MLN Medical College, Prayagraj, on Monday took out a silent march in city in
protest against the rape and murder of a woman doctor at a medical college in Kolkata.
Doctors have also demanded a CBI probe into the incident, and stringent action against the culprit.However, despite the silent march, all the facilities including OPD, Trauma Centre, and emergency services, were running as usual at the SRN hospital.
Doctors claimed that the protest will continue across India till the demands are met.
The doctors paid homage to the deceased doctor and affirmed that they would stand in solidarity with the doctor till justice is delivered in the case.
