9-yr-old-raped in Morena, Cong questions law and order in MP
Bhopal: A 9-year-old girl who was grazing her goats in a village in Ambah tehsil of Morena district of Madhya Pradesh was raped and left in an injured condition at a deserted place on village outskirts on Monday evening. The survivor, who sustained severe injuries, has been admitted to the hospital. Police have arrested the accused.
The accused, identified as a resident of the village, was also grazing his cattle when he saw the survivor.

He took her to a deserted place and raped her and left her. The survivor somehow reached home and narrated her ordeal to her kin, who rushed her to the police station.
SP Morena, Sameer Saurabh, said, "The accused has been arrested. The survivor is admitted to the ICU and is out of danger. A detailed probe is being conducted."
Meanwhile, reacting to the incident, MP Congress president Jitu Patwari raised questions on the law-and-order situation in the state and shared on social media, "The brutality against a 9-year-old girl in Ambah tehsil has once again shamed the entire state. Every day, reports of heinous crimes against daughters in Madhya Pradesh are deeply disturbing. The state of law and order in Madhya Pradesh is continuously deteriorating...."
