Protests erupt at Sodala after cow carcass found in illegal building
Jaipur: Hundreds locals gathered outside a house at Rakri in Sodala on Thursday after the carcass of a cow was discovered inside the tank of an illegally constructed building. Officials from Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Heritage (JMC-Heritage) said that the carcass was found in the basement of the under-construction building. After an uproar from residents, a municipal team arrived to remove the animal remains.
“We received a complaint about illegal construction at the building, and upon verifying the documents, it was confirmed.

The building has been sealed, and a notice has been issued to the owner. The carcass of the cow was removed by our team,” said a senior official. Police said locals filed a complaint against the owner and that an FIR has been registered. Residents said the building was under construction for several days.
