Shafi Parambil to begin poll campaign today

KOZHIKODE: A day after the Congress party declared Shafi Parambil as the candidate for Vadakara Lok Sabha constituency, Parambil announced via a Facebook post that he would begin his campaign at Vadakara on Sunday.
"I am coming to Vadakara at 4pm on Sunday. The support that the people of Vadakara gave in connection with the declaration of my candidacy through phone and social media is giving me a huge confidence boost and I feel immense love towards you all.In this , for the victory of the country, there should be support from all of you. Let us meet directly at 4pm near the Vadakara bus stand premises," Shafi said in a video message posted on social media.
Shafi said when the party assigns him for an election at Vadakara with a great intention, he expects support of people in Palakkad too.
"I know that I came to Palakkad constituency as a candidate. But now the love that the people gave me and my thanks and gratitude to them are above any positions," he said.
