Shillong: NEIGRIHMS conducted a state-level Continuation of Nursing Education (CNE) workshop on patient safety, which saw the participation of over 800 healthcare workers from across the state.
Chief nursing officer, NEIGRIHMS, Ridaker Khonglah said patient safety was about empathy and responsibility, emphasising on the overall goal of the workshop held on Fridayto make every patient’s experience as safe and positive as can be, reports Manosh Das.
In her keynote address, Irene A Nongtraw, nursing superintendent, NEIGRIHMS expounded on the focus of the theme “Improving diagnosis for patient safety” for the year 2024.
